IBEW ACTION ALERT: Ballot Cure Efforts in California – Save the House!

Volunteers Needed to Make Sure Every Vote is Counted

We have an urgent request for volunteers to help CURE BALLOTS and secure victories in our California key congressional districts. The House is still in play! 

Curing ballots involves contacting voters that have had their ballot rejected, usually for a minor error, sometimes including a signature that doesn’t exactly match what’s on file.  The County Registrar rejects such a ballot, and then the fate of the ballot depends on the voter being contacted and notified by a volunteer (i.e. IBEW) to come in a fix the ballot.  

IBEW Volunteers can sign up to help CURE BALLOTS, take a training, and then start making calls.   

There is a big demand for Spanish speakers – please share this action alert with your IBEW member volunteers that are Spanish speakers!
